Dr. Michael Argumaniz-Hardin joined the Department of Marriage and Family Therapy at Fuller Theological Seminary in July 2020, bringing with him over two decades of experience in academic higher education, clinical practice, organizational leadership. His teaching, supervision, and research are rooted in the integration of spirituality, systems theory, and experiential approaches to therapy, with a particular emphasis on the work of Virginia Satir.

He is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in both Texas and California (USA), a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) in Texas, and a Certified Family Life Educator (CFLE). In addition to his academic work, he is the founder and director of LIVeConnected Relational Therapy where he maintains an active private practice.

Nationally and internationally, Dr. Argumaniz-Hardin is a recognized leader in the Satir community. He currently serves as Vice President and Director of Education for the Virginia Satir Global Network, and is the host of the Virginia Satir Podcast. He is also co-authoring the forthcoming second edition of The Satir Model: Family Therapy and Beyond with Dr. John Banmen.
